 THE CLIENT
Plastrip CC is a world wide leader in the manufacture and distribution of quality horticultural products to the horticultural, nursery, home garden and industrial markets. Plastrip has main offices located in South Africa and New Zealand and distributors in the United States of America, Canada, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Hungary, France, Scandinavia, United Kingdom, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Israel and Kuwait.
THE TASK
A catalogue based website was required to display the horticultural, nursery, home garden and industrial product range. The website had to be designed to be easy to navigate and products easy to find. The look and feel of the website had to be consistent with the Plastrip name; colour scheme, logo and branding. The website needed to be maintained by staff in South Africa and/or New Zealand, with the ability to add new products and or pages to the catalogue when they became available. Specials also needed to be updated on a monthly basis.
THE SOLUTION
The solution that was developed for Plastrip was to design a database-driven website using the Evolo Content Management System. This solution enables the website to be updated and expanded if and when required, from anywhere in the world. |
